We were so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. He always had a big smile and usually a joke to accompany it. We will miss seeing him around town.

God Bless

Uncle Pete You were always a big inspiration to me in many ways, I will never forget the auto body & Fiberglass tips and skills you showed me but as for the Jokes I still can't remember or tell them like you could. You were one of a kind and will be missed by all but will always be remembered.

Pete, you were such an important role model in my life. You taught me that no matter how ruff life can be at times, you can still laugh and joke about it until it all goes away and becomes good again. I will miss your jokes and your laughter.....

Dear Uncle Peter,

I will miss you dearly!! Im sad to say I will never hear that one word that tied you and I together... "LEON". You had me thinking for many years that I was named after our Uncle Leon and thats why you would call me that.. to find out in my 20's that I actually never had an Uncle Leon!!! I loved you for that and whenever I hear that name, you will always come into my thoughts.
This week I have been told by my mother, Jeanine and Jean that I am a spitting image of you mainly in personality. That is the hugest compliment anyone could ever get. Laid back and a jokester!!! I love you always and you will forever be in my heart and thoughts. I will miss you!

Love you always,

"LEON"

Uncle Pete - your sweet, kind and gentle manner will always be in my heart forever. You always made me laugh and knew how to find the sunny side of life, you were cheery and bright, always had a joke. I always felt like it was just yesterday that we were seeing each other again and spending some special time while I was visiting. You always made a point to come and visit with Jennie and myself when we came down to Florida. I loved talking about your younger days on Long Island. I will always remember you with a smile and much love. You will be missed dearly. With love in our hearts and sadness in our souls, Peggy and Jennie Wharton
