Scotty Altic Obituary

Scotty Lee Altic

Scotty Lee Altic, 16 of Pleasant Hope passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 in his home.

He was born April 4, 1995 in Springfield, Missouri to Scott Eugene Altic and Casey Hough Johnson.

He attended Nixa schools then Pleasant Hope High School. He was a diesel tech at OTC where he loved his teachers. He was a member of FFA and served as various officers. Scotty was also employed at the Buffalo Livestock Market.

Scotty enjoyed fishing, hanging out with friends, riding horses and had a fondness for Ford trucks.

He was a loving and happy person who loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his dad, Scott E. Altic; his mom, Casey Hough Johnson and her husband, Derek; a half-brother, Tyler Jenkins; a step-sister, Moriah Johnson; grandparents, Pam and Dean Altic, and Tim and Janet Draper; two aunts, Tonna Hood and her husband, Bruce, and Cari Altic; an uncle, Brad Altic; four cousins, Kensey, Megan, Bryce and Lily and many other family and friends.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Hope High School FFA, 303 N. Main, Pleasant Hope, Missouri 65725.

I am so sorry to hear about what has happened to your family. I too went through this a few years ago. I lost my fiance the same way. My son and nephew went to school with him and my daughter said he was like everyone's brother. Just know that you are not alone. We are all here for you.

My son Terry Campbell and daughter Amanda Campbell went to school with Scotty and have fond memories of him.Scotty came to my in-laws a few times with my nephew Jacob Freedle and he was always smiling and full of energy they said.If their was something to be done he would try to help.I never got to meet Scotty,but I do understand the pain of loosing a loved one.I recently lost my mom back in November and all of our thoughts and prayers are with your family in this time of need.We are here if you need a friend.
