Obituary

Joseph P. Trocola, 87, of Cape Coral died Wednesday January 19, 2005. Born in New York, March 13, 1917 he was the son of the late Frank & Louise (Madonna) Trocola. Joe lived most of his life in New York where he worked for Bay Volkswagon in Bayside, NY. He moved to Cape Coral in 1978 from Queens, NY. He was a former employee of Car City and Collins Toyota in Ft. Myers. Joe was an active member in Cape Coral's Crime Watch for many years. He served his country Honorably with the U.S. Army during WW II and was the recipient of two Purple Hearts.

Survivors include his wife Carmella "Millie" of Cape Coral. His step-son Ciro (Debra) Pernice, Hauppague Park, NY. His step-daughter Toni (Michael) Delligatti, Dear Park, NY. His sister Anna Cucola, Lake Worth, Fl. and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Peter Trocola, Jr. in 1988.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday January 24, 2005 at the Coral Ridge Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by VFW Post 8463. The family will receive friends for viewing Sunday between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 PM. And Monday Morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
