Peter and I had a lot of fun decorating our home for Christmas. We had to see which one of us could out do the other. It was usually a tie.

Peter was such a wonderful friend and neighbor. I was blessed to have him come into my life. I remember who he liked to tinker around with things and if possible make stuff. Sometime it just didn't work our and we got a good laugh but one day he ask me to help him build small table that he could sit next to his recliner. The table turned out great and he used it every day. We also had an annual competition with the lighting and decorating our homes for Christmas. It was fun and the rest of our street caught on and started decorating also.

I think of Peter just about every day. He was a unique gentleman and a very positive influence in my life. I thank God for giving me a dear friend like Peter.

In loving memory of a great man and inspiring friend. We built houses for Habitat together, delivery many many meals for Meals On Wheels, ate our fair share of free samples at Costco and shared hundreds of personal stories on my front porch. He loved it when I addressed him as Sir Peter. The $5 lunches at DQ was the high light of many days. Happy Hour with a taste of free scotch on our porch was one of his favorites. We truly enjoyed meeting his children and their families. We were very blessed to have Peter enter our lives.
