Ruth Bourgoin Obituary


Obituary

Ruth A. Bourgoin, 89, of Endicott, formerly of N. Ft. Myers, FL went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas N. Bourgoin.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Audrey and Richard White, and Judith Roberts, all of Endicott; a son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Frances Roberts, Glendale, AZ; a step-son and his wife, Victor and Loretta Bourgoin, Rochester, NY; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a cousin, Joyce Ross.

She was very active in St. Hilary's Episcopal Church in Ft. Myers, FL, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Ednicott and the Al-Anon organization both in Endicott and in Florida. The family would like to thank the staff on Magnolia Lane at the Vestal Nursing Center for the excellent and compassionate care given Ruth.

A memorial service was held Saturday, April 30th at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Ralph Groskoph, officiating. A memorial service and committal service will be held at St. Hilary's Episcopal Church, Ft. Myers, FL Tuesday, May 17th at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to a charity of your choice.
