Sending condolences to all the family. I´m sure that my mother and Ed are up in heaven catching up and laughing up a storm as they do so. He was my mother´s ( Mary B.) favorite principal. My mother loved him. One of her "super special" memories was surely the time that Ed surprised my mother with a This is your Life surprise party upon her retirement. He was a good man and will be missed.

Was so sorry to hear of Dr. Hopkin's passing. I remember waiting on him when I work at Winton County Club - he was a very kind man.

My heart goes out to the family for the great loss of a fine man, educator and a true Southern gentleman. Ed was fun to work with and will be missed by so many. With great respect ( Ed would understand), I make the final bow.

Prayers to the family of Mr. Hopkins. I have many fond memories of him
at AES as my principal. He was what a principal should be- caring, funny, compassionate, loved everyone and serious when he needed to be. I still refer to him in conversation as the best principal I ever had! Hunter, Courtney, Ann and Bill- May God bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Mr. Hopkins was the Best Principal Ever. I will never forget how nice and friendly he was . If he ever corrected us students he did it with a smile. I am now at the age of 59 and he has been thought of often. Remembering him has taught me the way I treat my students.
So sorry for your loss. Love and Prayers.
