Christopher Belden Obituary

Christopher Wayne Belden, known to all his friends as "Flossy," died unexpectedly on October 3rd, 2023 at age 37. He leaves behind his mother and father, Nancy and Wayne, his two brothers, Russell (with Kathryn) and Blake, along with so many family members and friends that loved him more than he could have imagined. Anyone that knew Christopher will always think of his infectious laugh and quick wit, which he sharpened regularly.

He would want you to support live music (no country or Taylor Swift), quote your favorite movies, go to a local trivia night, drink good beer (definitely not a sour) and keep misguidedly rooting for the sports teams that will continue to disappoint you.

But most important of all, he would want you to reach out to your loved ones often. Let them know how much they mean to you.

The family will plan a private celebration at a later date.

Nancy and Wayne, and boys, I am so sorry for your loss. You have always been a close knit family who shared an abundance of love. Christopher, as all of your boys, always knew they were loved beyond measure. I know where Christopher got his wit and sarcasm and I miss having that in my life. I love you Nancy!

Chris had a genuinely GOOD hearted spirit. As a former co-worker, I always admired his sense of seeing 'the big picture' and willingness to 'pull his sleeves up' when the pressure was on. He was always ready to go that extra mile with and for his team. So fun to grab a beer with, LOVED his warming laugh, wit and intellect. Chris stood out as the kind of person who really listened to people. So kind. Terribly sad for all of us who knew and loved him, he will be missed so very much. We wish for the family many sweet memories as you help each other through this very unexpected and difficult time. Please reach out if there is any way we can support you. Lots of love, April

As you walk this difficult path, May the memories of the good times with Christopher bring comfort.

I remember a shy cute first grader entering my room determined to do his best. He loved his family and could name any dinosaur!
