Claude King

June 19, 1945 - July 3, 2025

Claude King, 80, of Nathalie, passed away peacefully at home on July 3, 2025. He was the husband of Linda Booker King.

Born in Pittsylvania County on June 19, 1945, Claude was the son of the late Russell King and the late Callie Seamster King. He was self-employed as a carpenter.

In addition to his wife, Claude is survived by four sisters, Rebecca Clay of Halifax, Earline King of Nathalie, Maggie Johnson of Gladys and Gearline Brightwell (Roy); a brother, Mac King (Betsy) of Cody; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Andrew Reisberg at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Brookneal Baptist Church with interment to follow in the King Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. The family will be at the home at other times.

Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Brookneal is assisting the family.
