Dillard was a kind man. Having recently moved to Appomattox and joined Hollywood Baptist Church and he quickly befriended our family by giving us the biggest cabbage I have ever seen. Dillard will me missed

Margie & Kimberly,
Dillard will be missed so much. Wesley and I are so heart broken, Wes lost his best buddy. They were like brothers in their younger years and like Father and Son later. Wes has so many stories of his memories with D-1 and I'veheard them all. Dillard was his go to for so much especially all of his knowledge. Will definitely miss him coming to the shed every evening for their "shed talks" and I'll miss our pumpkin competitions each year. Blessed to call you all family. We love ya'll so much and we are here as always for anything ya'll need.

I think all of us who grew up in Hollywood Baptist Church remembers Dillard's mischievous, grinning smile. Margie and family, I am so sad and sorry that Dillard has passed away. But I am sure he is in the arms of Jesus explaining why it's important to shoot a deer each day of hunting season (not). May Jesus comfort all of you during this sad time.
