Harold, I'm so sorry to hear about JoAnne. You have always been one of the special people in my life and have served as an example of the type of man I should be. Your quiet kindness and intelligence make you stand above us. I am praying for you in this saddest of times.

Harold and family,
We were very saddened to hear of JoAnne's passing. We will dearly miss her. She was a caring advocate of dogs through her rescue work. She was very kind and generous to us with our own animals. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Lee Ann and Rich Reinhart

Harold,
I knew JoAnne from my days at the Animal Shelter. I always looked forward to seeing her walk through the door because I knew the dogs I had for her would be taken care of. She was such a great advocate for our four legged friends. May God give you the strength to endure and may you cherish the many memories you and JoAnne made.

Dear Harold and Family:
I was sorry to learn of JoAnne's passing. JoAnne and I worked years ago at Leggett Department store when it was located at the Plaza--the four of us in Gift Wrap/Cards & Candy--me, Carole, Jackie, and JoAnne. Even though we hadn't seen each other in years, whenever our paths did cross, we would always ask about each other and reminisce about the "good ole' days". I guess we have had close to a 30-year friendship. As the youngest of the group, I will always remember the fun and all the laughs and wisdom that were shared together. I will truly miss JoAnne but will never forget the good times we all shared together. May God bless you and your family during this difficult time.

Harold,
So sorry to hear of JoAnne's passing. I will always remember her love for her dogs. I used to groom Daisy for her many years ago and was saddened by Daisy's unexpected passing. JoAnne can now join Daisy and her other loved ones on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Take care.

We are never prepared to go, and never prepared for the loss of such a good person. JoAnne, thanks for caring for the creatures and for being the only really special person that so many of them needed. You are missed. Barbe Shackelford

Harold, Earl & Brenda, Frances, and everyone...
It was difficult being home for Alfred's service but the greatest comfort is that our family has a large collective heart which I hope will comfort you as much as it has us. Joanne is the third Tanner cousin we have lost since May 20, and I am sad not to be there to offer my condolences in person. Earl and I prowled through the woods and creeks between our homes as kids but I got to know Joanne better as an adult when we worked together at Leggett. I loved seeing her everyday and laughing with her about our shared heritage. She never forgot the beauty of coming from the large Tanner clan, nor will any of us. God be with you all.
With love,
Susan

JoAnne, you were one of the kindest, loving and most fun people I ever met after moving to Virginia. Watching your love for animals was an inspiration to us all. I know we can now only find solice at this sad time by knowing that you are safely in God's hands and crossing your own Rainbow Bridge to be with your passed loving pets. You were so loved by so many. God bless and give strength at this time to your family. Friends forever, Holly, Bruce and Kelsey.

Harold and family,
I am truly saddened to read of JoAnne's passing. I hadn't seen her for a long time, but fondly remember fun times we spent together in our "teen" years. She was a lots of fun, and I remember when she met Harold and seemed to know without a doubt he was her one and only. May the Lord bless and keep you now and give you strength to go through this sad time. With sincere prayers, love, and sympathy, Betsy
