Not only was V.T. the best looking Davis in the Davis family, no one could light up my mother's face (Dee Davis) like Vaughan when he went to visit. Even I became invisible to her when he was around. V.T. was a friend to all, willing to help anyone in need, and with a kind heart, always smiling with that impish grin. V.T. had a hard life, but he made a wonderful living for himself. We were so proud of him. Oh,how he will be missed!
Love,
Norma J. Davis

I can still hear her singing her praises long after he left. V.T. was a friend to all, willing to help anyone in need, and with a kind heart, always smiling with that impish grin. I remember "hanging out" at the Carwile house as a teen. VT would come through the house with what seemed like a "PERMANENT" smile on his face!! He was always nice and very handsome!! RIP, VT, you will be missed!!

Vaughan was one of the sweetest, kindest men I have ever known! A good friend. We graduated from Boonsboro High School together and was loved by all.
