William D. Henry

William D. Henry "Shawn" also known as "Kobe" departed this earthly life on Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was born on October 5, 1980, to his parents, William Henry of Appomattox, Va., and Sonya Clarke (Lorence Clarke) of Concord, Va. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Annie Mclover; his paternal grandparents, John and Estelle Henry; and an uncle, James Mclover.

Shawn leaves to mourn his mother, Sonya Clarke (Lorence); his father, William Henry; one brother, Jordan Henry of Concord, Va.: one niece, Raynebow Henry of Concord, Va.: one daughter, Ashaunta Henry of Lynchburg, Va.: two sons, Henry Chappell of Appomattox, Va., and Jashaun Hamlette of Greensboro, N.C.: a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Davis-Turner Funeral Services with Pastor Bryan Moss, officiating. Condolences may be sent to www.Davis-Turner.com. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
