Bruno was a man who I was happy to call a friend

Doing what he loved up until the end

Working hard each day at a place called Royal

Helping his customers and burning the midnight oil

He plowed the Royal lot until there was no snow in sight

And at night he locked the door real tight

Bruno was a friend true blue

Someone you knew would always come through

No more rushing to get the orders in by eleven

Bruno's now driving that 63 Sting Ray Vette in Heaven.

=====

I miss you, Bruno.

Bruno,

I have only known you for a short time period. Thanks for all of your help.

Your jokes always brought a smile to everyone I shared them with. You where always there when a question needed to be answered. There are very few people left in this world that was as good natured as yourself. You will be deeply missed.

Thanks for everything.

Bruno, I first met you last year at the Royal Show in Philly, so I hardly knew you at all. But from the notes listed here and the wonderful memories shared last night at the funeral home, I've learned that you were a man with genuine good character who impacted people in a very postitive way. Not only will you be missed by your natural family, and your Royal family, but by your other extended family, the Lion's club. Their testimony of your willingness to contribute to the community in a very humble way, truly verified all the great things that friends from the pet industry have shared. We should all strive to leave a legacy such as your behind. May God give your friends and family strength and blessings.

All of your phone calls have been answered, all of your messages have been returned and your noon deadlines are complete!! It was a pleasure working with you. You will be missed!

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire Selmer family and our Royal family as well.

Bruno,

Words cannot express what a good friend you have been over the 25+ years that I had the pleasure of knowing you. From the time that I was a little kid visiting you on a regular basis at Community Pet Shop, to my wonderful memories and invaluable experience working for you there, to the present, you have always been an important person in my life. You are truly an integral part of the person that I am today. Our relationship withstood the test of both time & distance. Your wit, humor, insight and, most of all, your friendship will be sorely missed. Sincere condolences to Stella, Scott and the rest of the Selmer family.

With heartfelt sympathy for the Selmer family.

Bruno was always there on the other end of the phone to help answer any question with a laugh and comic banter. Who can replace him? No one! He will be deeply missed.

BRUNO, hope the phones ring less often in heaven.

When I began working at Royal 7 yrs ago, Bruno was one of the first people I met. Always had a joke,or asked if I needed something to eat. We even took a trip one night, by car, thru the new warehouse. Always, a helping hand when needed. Bruno, the flowering cherry WILL bloom in April. God Bless You !

Bruno,

I first met you a 10 years ago when I was a rookie sales rep. You were always there to offer advice and help when I needed it. I'll never forget the late night phone calls when I would send you an order after hours. You would always end with a joke or funny story. You taught me alot over the past 10 years. You always made me laugh when you would mention that you still had my "rookie card" hanging on your wall. Thanks for taking me under your wing. You will be missed.

I am the owner of the Animal House Two pet store in Potsdam N.Y. I have known Bruno since I worked at the Animal House in Watertown N.Y., in all about 11 years. I was both shocked and deeply upset when I heard of his passing. Bruno was not only my salesman at Royal but a friend. I could always count on him to be helpful and to brighten my day. I know that I will miss him. Please know that that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I DON'T KNOW BRUNO SELMER THAT LONG BUT WHEN I WOULD TALK TO HIM HE WOULD ALWAYS PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE BY TELLING YOU HIS FAVORATE JOKES. OR WHEN I SAW HIM IN THE REST ROOM HE WOULD ALWAYS TELL ME HE HAD A FAVORATE URINAL HE USED AND HE WOULD WAIT FOR IT.

MY DEEPEST SYMPTHONY HE WAS QUITE A GOOD PERSON. I HAVE BEEN WORKING AT ROYAL APPROACHING 2 YEARS IN NOVEMBER. EACH TIME I HAD A PROBLEM WITH ONE OF HIS CUSTOMERS I ALWAYS LEFT WITH AN ANSWER AND A SMILE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP.
