Frank Parrinello Obituary

Parrinello - Frank, of Wantagh, NY. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and more recently great-grandfather. Frank passed away on June 30, at the golden age of 93, while battling dementia for many years. He is survived by his loving wife, Lillian, of 65 years. He served in the Army National Guard from 1948 to 1951 and the Air Force from 1952 to 1956. A dedicated family man who enjoyed the big band sounds of Glen Miller and Frank Sinatra. He played the saxophone and always had a passion for airplanes. While he worked on the real ones during his time in the service, he built and flew radio-controlled planes quite often. In a social setting, he could light up any room with a smile, laughter, and stories of the past. He leaves behind a daughter, Cathy (and spouse, Stefano); a son, Michael (and spouse, Lisa); his five grandchildren, Stephanie (and spouse, Matt), Nicholas, Frank, Anthony, and Kaitlyn; and his great-granddaughter, Emily Rose. He will live forever in our hearts. Services were held with O'Shea Funeral Home in Wantagh.
