Gloria SEMENTE Obituary

SEMENTE - Gloria Rose, 80, passed away on November 16, 2013. Loving sister, aunt and researcher. Gloria was a dedicated and loving aunt who was always generous to charity. Her love of animals, particularly dogs, results in dedication of much of her estate to relieve their pain and suffering. She graduated from Fordham University and performed research at Columbia University where part of her life's work was cancer research. Later in her career she worked at Scheine, Fusco, Brandenstein & Rada Law Firm where she looked over the interests, protection and disability rights of injured workers. She is survived by her brother Arthur(Rosalie), nephews Raymond (Irene) and Mark, nieces Pat, Karen (Robert), Lauren (Richard), Deborah (Steven), and pre deceased by her loving niece Catherine. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10:30 at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Rocky Point. Interment to follow at Commack Cemetery. Arrangeents entrusted to professional care of The Branch Funeral Home in Smithtown and Vigliante Family. www.branchfh.com.
