John Firenze Obituary

FIRENZE-Mr. John B., 77, a longtime resident of Huntington, NY, passed away April 28, 2006 in Charlotte, NC where he had lived since 2004. A son of the late Dr. & Mrs. Anthony Firenze, he was an active member and past President of East Northport Rotary. Mr. Firenze's hobbies of boating and collecting antique music boxes also prompted membership in the Nissequogue River Canoe Club, the Neptune Power Squadron, and The Musical Box Society. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Doris Firenze, of Charlotte; his daughter, Beth Firenze Randise and her children, Jaime and Nicholas Randise, all of Wilmington, NC; his son, Steven Firenze of Charlotte; and a sister, Catherine Minucci of Los Angeles, CA. A service to commemorate Mr. Firenze's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13th, in the chapel of Memorial Cemetery of St. John's Church in Cold Spring Harbor. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
