John is always in my thoughts and I frequently finding myself laughing at times we had! Stupid things, but they were fun! One day he needed to do laundry in Kansas so I drove him over to the strip mall. John was using liquid detergent while I alway used powder. John was instructing me on how to use liquid so we loaded the clothes in, poured the soap into a specially identified hole and then he proceeded to put fabric softner in another such opening. I, having been lazy all these years, normally just poured the softner in with the wash so I mentioned that to John. "Oh No, No, No!" John reprimanded me, "it has to go in later so you put it in the second hole." I stuck my head down as close to the machine as I could to see where and when the second hole emptied and then told John to look for himself. He mimicked me and looked closely too. The second hole went directly into the wash just as the soap had! We looked at each other and burst out laughing! ! ! Yes! he and I will believe anything we are told! I miss having him here in person so we can continue discovering the mysteries of the universe!
