My brother Kevin has been gone almost two weeks now and even though the pain is still so real and I feel that a large part of my heart is missing. I would like to speak of Kevins great love for his family. I believe that Kev was determined to survive as long as he did because in some way he knew that mom's time on this earth would be coming to an end soon and he wanted to make sure that she did not take that journey alone,so he waited for her and together they left this life for another free of pain and suffering.Kevin possessed great courage and never failed to tell mom, myself and my sisters how much he loved us and how grateful he was that we were all there for him but as our mom taught us that is what family is all about. As kids we had our family theme song we sang to get us through bad times which spoke of the love we had for each other. We sang that song to him as he was about to leave this earth and it made him smile. I love you little bro and miss you so much, Moo

Kevin was my uncle. He was the "coolest" uncle. He was always so fun and laid back. We all miss you Uncle Kevin. Jess

It was my extreme pleasure and privelege to know Kevin as a patient and an amazingly strong and joyful person. In the face of great adversity he maintained an everpresent sense of humor that was infectious. His grace and dignity are qualities that I aspire to. Thanks for the memories Kevin.

My beautiful sister Rita, My favorite thing about Kevin was his ability to make "you" laugh out loud.. He was one of the funniest people I have ever known... I will miss that.. I hope he is up there with his mother and our mother making them all laugh the way he always has... We will forever have our memories... They are precious.. just like him.. I love you... Nancy

What I remember most about Kevin was his endearing smile and sense of humor. He loved Rita dearly, I could tell by the twinkle in his eyes when he looked at her. He will be missed by many. My prayers are with Rita and all of his family

Although I didn't know Kevin directly, I knew him through Rita and have grown to appreciate his kind nature and strength. Rita adored Kevin, and I know his family and friends will miss him greatly. Special thoughts are with all of you.
