Marc was my roommate at East Carolina for a couple of years. I remember Marc like it was yesterday, his smile, his wit, his kindness and his remarkable intelligence. In fact, I still talk about Marc today and give him credit for helping me graduate college! Marc is the only person I have ever known who had a photographic memory. He could read a chapter from an economics book then have me quiz him, he could recite back almost verbatim anything I threw at him, it would blow me away. He was a math wiz as well and helped me get through physics 1250 and 1260. Marc told me he did this stuff in high school, I told him it might as well be rocket science because I had never seen anything like it. We had some really good times together, so many stories I would like to tell. After college we stayed in touch for a couple of years but eventually drifted apart as happens in life. I only learned of Marcs passing a little while ago through another mutual friend I haven't seen in many years. Marc loved his mother and talked about her often, I know he is missed dearly by his family and friends. Marc may be gone but he is not forgotten, rest in peace good friend.

I first met Marc when he and I were getting into an elevator in Civil Court with two other strangers. Suddenly, Marc burst out into possibly the loudest rendition of "Roxanne" that I've ever heard, especially in an elevator.
It's cliche to say that Marc is one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet but, in his case, it's true.
My sympathy to Michelle, Marc's family and his extended family at Tusa.

I will always remember Marc as a great person and a gifted attorney. His good nature and humor will be sorely missed.

Marc came into my life shortly after I lost my father, when things still looked so dark and bleak. Marc brought laughter, joy and light back into my life. I cannot begin to express my deep sorrow of learning of his death. My mother and I send our love to the entire Chiappetta and Ruvoldt Families. Love Barbara
