Kevin Duane "KB" Brown

It's with great sadness that the family of Kevin "KB" Duane Brown announces his passing after a brave battle with lung cancer.

KB was born on Oct. 31, 1957, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ardell and Donna Brown. KB came to Alaska in 1990 in search of fun and adventure. He met the love of his life, Evelyn, at Norlite Campground in Fairbanks, and the greatest adventure of his life began.

KB and Evelyn were happily married for nearly 32 years at the time of his passing. The couple had twin daughters in 1992, and KB was the best dad in the entire world. Family was everything to KB and there was nothing he loved more than spending time with his wife, daughters and four grandkids. They were the light of his life.

KB was also a dedicated business owner. He owned and operated Arctic RV for 27 years. In his spare time, KB was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was involved in many organizations, including the National Rifle Association, Alaska Outdoor Council and Tanana Valley Sportsmen's Association.

KB is survived by his wife and best friend, Evelyn; daughters, Hannah (Leland) and Haley (Markus); four grandkids, Hadlynn, Hugo, Leroy and Marlo; mother, Donna; and many loved family members and friends. He is reunited in heaven with many loved ones, including his dad, Ardell.
