Matthew Harrison Obituary

Matthew Harrison, 15, born on Feb. 7, 2003, in Gelnhausen, Germany, passed away on Nov. 20, 2018, in a tragic accident.
He was the son of Michaela and Robert Harrison. He attended Lathrop High School. Matthew enjoyed riding his dirt bike and snow machine. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a wiz with fun facts and trivia.
There wasn't anything that he wouldn't take apart and rebuild. He was the kind of person that would jump out of a moving vehicle to help anyone in need. He was a bright ray of light in all the lives that he touched. His sense of humor surpassed even the wildest of imaginations. He will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind his five sisters, two brothers, his two grandparents, five nephews and three nieces and a countless number of very special friends.
There will be a celebration of life service at 6 p.m. on Nov. 29, 2018 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1811 Farmers Loop Road. In lieu of flowers we request that a donation be made to "The Door" at 138 10th Ave., (122 10th Ave. for mail in donations) Fairbanks, Alaska, 99701. One last small request to honor Matthew, we would like to see everyone wearing some sort of camouflage garment if at all possible.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. It seems there's very little anyone can say or do, to ease the pain of losing someone who meant so very much to you. But May you find some comfort in the sorrow that you bear, just knowing that God knows your pain and cares. - Isaiah 43:10
