Benjamin Feldman Obituary

Raleigh
Benjamin Lucien Feldman passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012. A native of Wake County, he was born May 3, 1989 to David and Polly Iager Feldman. Ben loved life, his family, his brothers, Mitchell and Greg, his friends, his dogs Maggie and Macy, and anything with a motor. He was a recent graduate of ECU and loved spending time at the gym exercising and playing basketball.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00AM at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 4801 Six Forks Road, Raleigh. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh.
Benjamin is survived by, his parents David Feldman and Polly Feldman, both of Raleigh, two brothers, Mitchell and Gregory, of Raleigh; his grandfather, Lucien Feldman, his girlfriend, Jessica; two dogs, Maggie and Macy, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorial contributions in Benjamin's memory may be made to the City of Raleigh Department of Parks and Recreation, Athletic Department. Please contact Jane Bailey, Athletic Director, at 919-831-6836 or [email protected].
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 27, 2012, from 6-9PM at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh.
Following the service at the cemetery, the family would like to invite everyone back to a reception at his mother Polly's house. There will be directions available at the cemetery.

I worked with Ben and had breakfast with him a few times. He kept on mentioning how much he loved his family, especially his brother. Just wanted to send my prayers and hopefully the Lord will comfort all of his friends and family. Be blessed,

I remember Ben bringing Mitchell to our house when he and Adam were in middle school- he always loved to talk to my husband, Dave, about his car projects and I remember how sweet he was with his brothers. No words will ever be enough. I don't know that I'll be able to go to work with out you. I only knew you for six months but that's all it took. It really goes to show your character. You were always a happy and vibrant person who could often make light of a tough situation. I wish I hadn't took for granite the short time we had to gather. My heart is choking me as I hear this tragic news. Knowing your family for years and watching your kids grow up brought great sense of family and love whenever I saw them. I think I gave Ben his first summer job at 14 sweeping those apartment chimneys with me and he was a great boy then and certainly made you all proud with his accomplishments to date.
