WAKE FOREST
Bennie Green Woodlief, 61, of Wake Forest, died Monday, April 22, 2013 at WakeMed. Bennie was the owner and operator of his own landscaping company and was an avid Duke fan.
Bennie is survived by his children, Justin Green Woodlief and wife, Wendy, of Cary and Lindsey Woodlief and fiancé, Solomon Price, of Richmond, VA; his mother, Belle Woodlief of Wake Forest; sisters, Terry Morris Horton and husband, Terry, of Wake Forest and Susan Brown of Bunn; brothers, Phillip Woodlief and wife, Eddy, of Raleigh, and Sammy Woodlief of Tacoma, WA; three grandchildren that he cherished more than anything, Jackson, Ryan, and Caroline; former wife, Candy Woodlief.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00-8:00 Thursday evening at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Casual dress is suggested. (919-556-5811)
