One of the most outstanding educators, ever. Both a gentleman and a scholar Dr. Bishop was direct, had high expectations from all of his students and many of them were indeed a success. Sir, I miss you and your wisdom gave me the courage to move on from a career that was not for me to a surprising success as an educator of rural and neighborhood youth of all races, faiths and multicultural backgrounds.
History is not to be worshiped at all but to serve as both a caution and a warning not to repeat its mistakes but to actually ponder carefully and finally to learn from.
