I grew up with Dot on Waddell Street, and knew Doris when I was a young child. I'll never forget her Long Red Lincoln, nor those Long Red Fingernails. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. Johnston County truly lost a gem on Saturday, the family will be in my prayers.

Doris was such a sweet person. Willing to help anyone. She didn't mine telling you what she thought. She was a #1 Jeff Gordon fan and loved her NASCAR. Going to miss you Cousin Doris but know you are not in any pain and rejoicing with family. Jr, Susie, Bud, Ann, Grandchildren and rest of the Family Praying for everyone. Love you
