I grew up next to the Snows. I always remembered he had a big personality and loved to joke around. He was good friends with my dad. I'm very thankful for him letting friends and I swim in his pool summer after summer. You don't forget the generosity and he made a big impact on my childhood days. I have the utmost respect for him as a veteran and a man who was truly loved by many!

I would go out to the Finkenbinder farm every summer to work and have good fellowship with Doug and Cousin John. The most memorable and enjoyable summers of my life. Thanks to Doug I did a lot of growing up during those summers. I will miss you Doug and I'm sure you're cracking jokes with God right now. God Bless you.

I met Doug approximately 62 years ago. From the way my husband talked, Doug or Howard, as my husband called him, was like a brother. There was an enormous amount of extremely great memories, which he shared. After meeting Howard, I can see why. He was just a wonderful person from the inside out and he radiated a true warmth especially towards Juanita and family. He will be truly missed.
