Jane Fleury Obituary

Jane Offen Fleury, 48, died August 26, 2005.
She was born on March 1, 1957 in Baltimore, MD. Jane was a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs School and the University of Maryland. As a professional, she worked in Washington, D.C. for the National Geographic Society, on Capitol Hill in the lobbying office for Bristol Myers, and in financial services for Sallie Mae student loan marketing. She moved with her husband, Russell, from Maryland to Cary, NC in 1994.
Surviving are her husband of 18 years, Russell Fleury of Cary; son, Justin Fleury of Cary; step-son, Brian Fleury of Fairfield, CT; mother, Annette Offen of Kensington, MD; brothers, D. Scott Offen of Kensington, MD and M. Louis Offen and wife, Laura of Rockville, MD; and nieces, Alexis Offen and Suzanne Offen of Rockville, MD.
Shewas preceded in death by her father, J. Allan Offen.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2005 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary's Street, Raleigh. Interment will follow at Raleigh Hebrew Cemetery.
In lieuof flowers, memorial contributions in Jane's honor may be made to Ravenscroft School, Development Center, 7409 Falls of NeuseRoad, Raleigh, NC 27615.
The family would like to express appreciation to the Ravenscroft School Community, the East Coast Eagles Ice Hockey families, and neighbors in Birkhaven for all of their love and support.
