Jason Alexander Arritt

January 28, 1990 - July 20, 2024

Durham, North Carolina - It is with grief that we share the passing of Jason Alexander Arritt, he passed away July 20th, 2024. He was born in San Diego, California; but fell in love with North Carolina when he was stationed at Fort Bragg, where he was a paratrooper for the 82nd Airborne Division. He was deployed to Iraq in 2017, Jason's legacy of service and devotion will never be forgotten. After honorably retiring from the Army, Jason joined the National Guard and Cisco Systems in Raleigh. Your memory and laugh will forever live in our hearts. Jason is survived by his beloved wife, Justine Markham-Arritt and their dogs, Echo and Mousse; his parents, Kenneth Arritt and Anna Tully; step mother Twila Arritt, his grandfather, Donald Arritt; his siblings, Nicholas Arritt, Sarah Walker and Michael Kreedman, as well as family and friends who admired and cherished him. Jason is predeceased by grandmother Carolyn Arritt, grandmother Ruth Wilson, and grandfather Robert Wilson.
