John A Edwards, Jr

October 29, 1953 - October 5, 2024

Raleigh, North Carolina - Johnny Edwards passed away on October 5, 2024 due to complications of severe pneumonia. Born in Raleigh on October 29, 1953, he was the son of Jolene W Edwards and the late John A Edwards, Sr.

Johnny graduated from NCSU with a degree in Engineering. He was co-owner and CEO of John A Edwards & Company, a surveying and land development firm in Raleigh.

Throughout his life, Johnny enjoyed playing golf, deep sea fishing and snow skiing.

Johnny is survived by his mother, Jolene Edwards, his sister, Susan E Spurlin and Susan's husband, Bill Spurlin.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to NC State Engineering Foundation (919-515-7458) or a charity of your choice.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
