Lucille Suiter Obituary

Mrs. Lucille Fowler Suiter, age 91, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Rex Health Care in Raleigh.
A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alma Fowler. Mrs. Suiter retired as Administrative Secretary with the North Carolina State Board of Elections in 1988 after 22 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Suiter, infant daughter, Carol Lucille Suiter, brothers, Malcolm, Arthur, Avera, and Wesley Fowler; sisters, Wynona and Inez Fowler.
An avid Carolina Hurricanes fan, Lucille rarely missed a game.
Graveside service 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington with Rev. Terry Beatty officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 8300 Health Park, Suite 10 Raleigh, NC 27615.
Survivors: son, Thomas Arthur Suiter of Raleigh; niece, Sandra Fowler Acai of Raleigh; grand niece, Avera Acai of Raleigh; several other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Rex Health Care that exhibited much care to her during her many illnesses. A special thanks to Dr. Mark Yoffe, Dr. Chris Perkins, Dr. Karen Hill-Garrett, Dr. Charles W. Scarantino and the many Rex Health Care volunteers who assisted her at the Carolina Hurricane games.

I am truely going to miss seeing Mrs.Suiter and talking with her on the phone about the Hurricanes. She was a special Lady!
