I am stunned to hear of Mark's death. He was a neighbor and a classmate who always had my respect academically and socially. His talents and thoughtfulness impacted countless lives.
May God bless the friends and family as only He can until we meet again.

My memories of Mark are warm and pleasant ones. I was a first year teacher at Randleman High School and Mark was my student. I remember almost everything about school that year, and Mark Sechrest was a big part of that. He allowed me to be not only his teacher, but his friend. I will remember him for many things, but especially for that. I was able to reconnect with him at his 20th high school reunion where I was glad to catch up on where he had been and what he had been doing. I was happy to see that the young man I knew from his high school days had become happy and successful in his adult life, too. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. I was fortunate enough to know his sister, Angela, as a student at Randleman as well. May you all know that Mark touched the lives of many different people in many different ways.

Shocked to hear of Mark's death, we graduated together and you couldn't find a nicer guy. He was super intelligent, honest, helpful and would be there if you needed him. We only saw each other a few times since graduation, but he was a Class Act!!!
I will pray for his family to be comforted!

Sorry to hear about Marks passing. Mark and I grew up in the same area and graduated together. He was a good person.

So surprised and sad to learn of Mark's death. We were in school together; I remember our days in band in particular. My best wishes for his family and friends to find comfort and healing in the difficult days ahead.
