More than 50 years ago Dr. Rogers became our pediatrician. We were very young parents of a child with Downs Syndrome and had no idea how to care for our child. He gave us amazing advice and guidance and continued to care for Peggy and our other children Byron and Lara as long as he was in our area.
We are so thankful that we were privileged to have him as our doctor and friend.
Praying for God's peace and comfort on each one of his family.

Rich was an outstanding person and superb physician. I worked many years with him and learned things I would never have gotten any where else. He loved all his children and respected people of all levels. A cherished friend, physician and co-worker. You will be missed. My prayers go out to Dr. Richard Rogers MD family.

Sincere condolences to all on Dr. Rogers' passing. He joined Asheville Pediatric Associates at about the time my father was retiring. Dr. Rogers was obviously much loved by his patients and their parents and will be missed.

I remember Dr. Rogers seeing my child when he was young when our regular Dr. was not in. He was caring and kind, even though he did not know him, but treated him as if he was his own patient. I truly appreciated that courtesy then as Brad was scared at the time.

Betty Ann, Ricky, Bill, Laura and all, - I was sad to see of Rich's death. He and Tom Readling were the reason that I came to Asheville. Rich and I had bumps in the road but I value the time and experiences that I had with him.
