I think he knew everyone at Salem. He cared so much for his church family and Apex. We are blessed for having known him.

Such a privilege knowing you both, and even more a blessing from God. This is what I left on facebook to alert others of Bob's homegoing as well as their opportunity to find out what excited this man and caused him to have such an impact on so many: A true servant of God and a great man got to see his Savior face to face and hear the words "Well done thou good and faithful servant". Bob Post will be greatly missed on this earth but was joyously welcomed into heaven. Pray for his wife Rosemarie Post and his family as they rejoice that he no longer suffers from the frailties of an earthly body, but will miss his bright spirit and presence. He also left behind quite a legacy amongst the men of Salem Baptist Church as well as other churches before and the countless Marines and other veterans he encountered, as well as those he met during countless visitations. He was also a great encourager both in person and by phone as he regularly called the home bound members and the sick. No better Post can be found on facebook

Bob used to be a Sunday School teacher at Colonial Baptist, and I learned much from this godly man. He knew how to touch lives. His wife is a lovely lady, always gracious and kind. One of the best things about heaven is no more goodbyes. We will see him again.
In His love,

I remember when Bob would come to our house and call my husband on a weekly basis to check on him. He was a very special man and I am looking forward to seeing him again one day. Thank you Bob for sharing the gospel with everyone you met.

Bob was a blessing. I am thankful IBM sent him from NY to bless us all. Besides Pastor Jon Meek, brother Bob was the most influential person in my deciding to go into the ministry. 24 years after meeting Bob and 22 years after becoming friends with him, I still serve our Risen Savior! I remember my first testimony in 1994 at Salem Baptist Church, the church my family had been attending since 1975. I said, "The first time I got saved." Bob congratulated me on my "great" testimony. He then said, "Brother, you only get saved once. God keeps you." I was gloriously saved the first time that "second time." What a party in Heaven! His wonderful wife Rosemarie the essential complement to the awesomeness of the couple. I can't wait to see Bob again.

What a great Godly man. He had been my neighbor and friend for 20 years. I will never forget how he always checked and my wife everyday after her heart attack. He will be missed but the Lord got another angel in heaven.

I count it a privilege to have known Bob and to have gone out with him several times knocking on doors to share the Gospel. I'll never forget him telling me "Jesus is the best boss I've ever had." He was so good to keep in touch with my sister after her husband passed away. Truly a special man that will be missed by many.
