W. Crew Obituary
Mr. Crew was N.C. State Senator from 1953-1965, a Navy veteran, an attorney, and also served as State Chairman of the Democratic Executive Committee.
Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at All Saints Episcopal Church. Burial will follow in Spring United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Crew is survived by his wife, Dorothy S. Crew; one granddaughter, Valerie Crew Shelton of Kitty Hawk; one great-granddaughter, Lillianna Blythe Shelton of Kitty Hawk; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Marx of Sebastian, FL; one step daughter, Patti Suggs of Raleigh; three step sons, Steve Harding of Orlando, FL, Jim Harding of Raleigh and Jeff Harding of Havelock; eight step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements by Hockaday Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, NC.
