My condolences to Pat's family.
He was the best manager and mentor I ever had. Pat was also a good friend. I worked for Pat for over 20 years and got to know and respect him a lot.
We all will miss him,

I was always surprised and pleased at how Pat treated me on the job, with kindness and respect, taking his time and sharing knowledge with an open ready smile no matter how bad a day we were having at work. I sensed his kindness right away and I always marveled at how many extra curricular activities he participated in. It was an honor.

Pat was a wonderful person, and a great ballplayer and teammate. I enjoyed both working with him as well as the time we spent on the softball field many years ago. My sincere condolences.

Pat was one of my heroes at Delco. I met him early in my time there, sometime in 1976 I think. We worked various projects together but the one I remember best was the small missile program called Tacit Rainbow. As I recall, Pat discovered why the first flight test failed. Turned out to be a connector that Northrup had failed to mate properly. He found it in the debris returned from the hole the missile had dug in the desert. Most of the little mechanical engineering I know came from Pat. He was a good friend and always ready to share what he knew from his vast store of experience. I know he will be missed by family and friends.

I remember first meeting Pat as a young engineer at Delco. I started working at Delco at the same time as Vince and Vince and I quickly became friends. Each time I saw Pat at Delco I would always say Hi Mr Omalley, until Vince told me his dad told him to tell me to please call him Pat. Mr. Omalley made him feel old.
Pat, you were certainly young at heart and truly one of a kind. You will be missed.
