Anna Imbro Obituary

Anna M. Imbro Anna M. (Roy)Imbro,age 99 of Bethel, died on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Bethel Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late Andrew Imbro. Anna was born July 3, 1910 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Klimaski) Roy. A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Anna had resided in Bridgeport, as well as Stamford and Danbury. Anna is survived by herdaughter, Carole A. Goldsman (Melvin) of Encino, Calif.; one brother, Edward Roy of Stratford; three grandsons, Scott A. Imbro of Mahopac, N.Y., Brod-erick J. Imbro of Meriden, and Marc A. Goldsman of Beverly Hills, Calif.; two great-grandsons, James Imbro of Albuquerque, N.M. and Matthew Goldsman of Beverly Hills, Calif.; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her hus-band Andrew, Anna was predeceased by her son, James; six brothers; and two sisters. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at the Bethel Healthcare Center for the excellent care provided to Anna. There will be no cal-ling hours. A Mass of Christian Bur-ial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 11th at St. Mark Church, Stratford at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. The Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
