John Doyle Obituary

John P. Doyle Jr. John P. Doyle, Jr., 86, of New Milford, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at New Milford Hospital. He was the husband of Evelyn Zelyez Doyle. Mr. Doyle was born in North Tarrytown, N.Y., March 29, 1922, son of the late John P. and Anna Darcy Doyle. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a financial manager with I.B.M. for 35 years, retiring in 1987. Mr. Doyle's greatest love in life was for his wife of 57 years, Evelyn. He also received trememdous pleasure spending time with his two sons, Kevin Doyle and John (Jack) P. Doyle III, both of Ridgefield; two daughters, Sharon Doyle Berger of New Rochelle, N.Y. and Darcy Doyle Conrod of Winter Haven, Fla.; his three beautiful granddaughters, Britt, Lacey, and Kristen; and his many nieces and nephews. Mr. Doyle and his family will also cherish their many happy memories of vacations on Cape Cod and in Florida. His other great passions in life include his enthusiastic support of the NY Mets, NY Giants and his beloved alma mater, the University of Notre Dame. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, New Milford. Arrangements by the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, P.O. Box 5022, Wallingford, CT. 06492.
