Mr. Joseph J. Kozak, husband of Marianne Kozak, passed away on October 5, 2024, at his home, with his wife of 60 years by his side.
Joseph was born in Bridgeport, CT, where he attended local schools.
Then Joseph and his family moved to Shelton, CT. After marriage, he lived with his wife in Danbury, CT for five years, before moving to Newtown, CT for 23 years, and then moving to Beverly Hills, FL in 1996.
Mr. Kozak was employed as a manager for Southern New England Telephone Company in Danbury before retiring in 1994.
Joseph was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Joseph was also a member of the United States Army which he served proudly.
Besides his wife, Mr. Kozak leaves a brother, Robert, and wife, Judy, of Enfield, CT.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents, brother, Peter Kozak M.D., and sisters, Joan Slaughter and Dolores Sterbinski.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Mr. Joseph Kozak was laid to rest on October 12, 2024, at Fero Memorial Gardens in Beverly Hills, FL.
