Patrick R. Lillis

Patrick R. Lillis Patrick R. Lillis, age 75, of New Milford, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009, at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of the late Rosemarie Burch Lillis. Mr. Lillis was born in New Milford, April 29, 1934, son of the late Thomas J. and Concetta DeSanti Lillis. He was a very familiar face at Stop & Shop in New Milford where he was employed as a clerk and will be greatly missed. Mr. Lillis is survived by six children, Dale Fetcho of Argyle, N.Y., Patrick "Rusty" Lillis, Jr. and wife Tina of New Milford, Amy Strand and husband Chuck of New Milford, Dean Lillis of Arlington, Vermont, Corrie Lillis of New Milford, and Patrick "P. J." Lillis III of New Milford; three brothers, Samuel, Norbert and David, all of New Milford; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Thomas, and sister MaryAnn. A funeral service will take place on Monday, December 21, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Lillis Funeral Home on Monday from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.
