Robert Moissonnier Obituary

Robert J. Moissonnier, age 56, of Danbury, passed away at his home on Thursday February 8, 2007. He is the husband of Barbara J. (Lincoln) Moissonnier.
He was born March 14, 1950, in Danbury, son of the late Emile and Mary (McGoldrick) Moissonnier.
He attended local schools and was a graduate of Danbury High School class of 1968. He also graduated from Hartford Technical School in 1971 with a degree in civil engineering.
He was employed for 42 years in the local construction industry, most recently with Earthmovers, Inc.
He was a avid sports fan. His favorite baseball team was the Mets. He was a past basketball and baseball team coach. He also enjoyed landscaping, gardening: and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Rob Moissonnier of Danbury, Jeff Moissonnier of Southbury and Tami Burns and her husband Chris of Wingdale, N.Y.; granddaughter, Grace Lyn Burns; a sister, Ann Lacey and her husband Peter; brothers, David Moissonnier and his wife Barbara and Jon Moissonnier and his wife Sheri and several nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral services will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
Cremation will take place at Charter Oak Crematory Oxford, at the direction of the family.
Friends will be received at the Green Funeral Home on Saturday from 2 p.m. to the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Regional Hospice of Western CT, 405 Main St., Danbury, CT 06810 or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
