David R. Hagemann, 71, of Duluth, MN passed away December 16, 2025 at Essentia Health - St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.
David was born to Robert F. and Lorraine A. (Kolczaski) Hagemann on December 2, 1954, in Lawton, OK.
David became an ordained minister of the American Lutheran Church in October 1981, and dedicated his life to the ministry.
David was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Dale (Deborah) Hagemann; his sisters, Debra (David) Hof and Donna (Jim) Kuntzi; and his stepmother, Donna (Pfeifer) Hagemann.
Funeral services are to be held January 3, 2026 at Elim Lutheran Church, 2077 CR 6, Barnum, MN at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, David has requested that memorials be directed to the educational funds at either Elim Lutheran Church in Barnum, MN, or Saint Johns Mendota Lutheran Church.

David is an amazing person. I´ve had the pleasure of being his next door neighbor for almost 5 years. I wish it could have been longer.
He was sure to greet my wife and I when we were doing the initial showing and I´ve never been lacking his warm welcome and friendship.
He´s the kindest man I´ve known and I´m going to miss him dearly.
He always said, "thank god for good neighbors" and he was the best we could ever ask for.

I and my Husband Keith worked with David at the DOC Moose Lake. His Job with the DOC or the Offenders was not Easy! I would be Surprised who in Admin remembered him.
