Wanda Lee Crabtree

1933 - 2016

Wanda Lee Crabtree, 82, formerly of Woods Hollow Road, Chillicothe, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, in Traditions at Bristol Village, Waverly, Ohio.
She was born Oct. 17, 1933, in Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of the late Dewey George Brownfield and Geraldine (Meeker) Brownfield. On October 13, 1950, Wanda was united in marriage to William Richard Crabtree who survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Karen Elaine Scurlock and husband Rich of Waverly, Ohio, two sons, Gerald Wayne Crabtree and wife Carolyn of Okeechobee, Florida, and Scott William Crabtree of Columbus, Ohio, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great great-grandson, two brothers, Thomas Brownfield and wife Kathy of Jasper, Ohio, Ronald Brownfield and wife Sandy of Piketon, Ohio, five sisters, Doris Dyke of Waverly, Ohio, Donna Brodess and husband James, Judith Adams and husband Thomas and Janet Harris, all of Piketon, Ohio and Linda Murphy and husband Tim of Waverly, Ohio, sister-in-law, Patsy Brownfield of Piketon, Ohio, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, James, Joe, Gene, Gary, Steve, Kenneth and Darrell Brownfield, four sisters, Fleda Zimmerman, Bonnie Louderback, Juanita Liebe and Wilma Brownfield, two infant twin brothers and a brother-in-law, Harry "Junior" Zimmerman.
Wanda was a homemaker and a member of the Victory Chapel Church in Waverly, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Charles DeWitt, officiating. Burial will follow in Omega Cemetery, Omega, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
