Just a short note to thank “Booker” for being part of my life for many years. Working at first bank were some of my best memories in my entire life of working. He shared his love, consideration, compassion, and most of all, his Respect for all of us that worked for him! My God, This man loved to laugh, joke, and made coming to work so fun!! He was the first one there when any of us or our families were sick, or needed help in anyway. Not only did we lose a Great man, Joe and I lost a very dear friend. You truly will be missed. Thanks for all the memories, Booker, forever in our Hearts . Sherry n Joe

So sorry for your loss! “Book” had so many friends I’m in such shock! To me he will always be remembered for his love and support of Mission College Prep. Being an Assistant Coach for the basketball program I used to always look for “Book” in the stands. He always had some great sayings. My wife would sit with him at games and she always had such a good time. He will be dear to our hearts. Thanks for your charm and support.
You brought a lot of joy. You will be missed! Coach John “Doc Jensen

When I heard this news it was with a sense of disbelief. How could someone “larger than life” be gone? I worked with Dave at First Bank for 16 years, but had known him for years. When his office was upstairs his bellowing laugh could be heard throughout the lobby downstairs. “There’s Booker!”we would say. My best to Amber, Ben, and Chris. I’m sure you have a lot of stories to make you smile on this sad occasion.

From Reggie my HS classmate to my accountant, then my banker as I was his banker, & friend exchanging texts as long as he was able. I won't forget!

Dave was an amazing man! He truly lit up any room he was in! Sitting with home at sporting events was always “entertaining”! He was such a positive spirit, he left us Way to soon!

Dave Booker: a beautiful man, always pleasant with such a terrific smile followed by a heart-felt laugh. Mr. Booker was so much apart of the Housing Authority while I was employed there under the direction of another great man, namely George Moylan. Mr. Booker WAS a community and Housing Authority cheerleader: smart, dedicated, out-going. I already miss him.
