Brian Nelson Obituary

Brian E. Nelson, Sr.
Brian E. Nelson, Sr., 72, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28th, 2024, at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Marilyn Palmer Nelson. Brian was born on August 24th, 1952, in New York, New York and was the son of the late Bertis and Eleanor Stanton Nelson. Brian was the owner of Transportation Solutions, Inc., a company that arranged transportation of logistics and booth properties to trade shows across the country. Brian had a dry sense of humor and loved to cook and watch cooking shows. He was an accomplished golfer and was member of the Farms Country Club, Wallingford, where he served many years on numerous committees. Most of all, Brian was very proud of and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his children and grandchildren. He was the father of Brian E. Nelson, Jr. and Robert G. Nelson (Jen Lau) and grandfather of Blake, Sloane and Kai Nelson. He is also survived by a brother, two sisters, several nieces and nephews.
The visiting hours will be on the morning of December 13th from 10:30 to 12 noon at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue with a prayer service to follow.
