Clement Fucci Obituary
Clement Albert Fucci, 85, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, at his home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 62 years to Maria Pertesis Fucci. Born in New Haven on February 25, 1940, he was son of the late Gabriel and Raffaella Leonardo Fucci. He served his country proudly and faithfully in the US Army Reserves. Clement was the Owner/Managing Partner of Weichert Realtors of Hamden and Orange retiring in 2017. In his earlier years he was a top salesman for Southern Connecticut Gas Company before going into the Realty business as a salesman for many years at Beazley Company Realtors, where he became an Owner/Managing Partner of his own branch before merging with Weichert Realty in the early 2000's. He was an avid golfer, having made two holes-in-one. He loved family vacations to Cape Cod, Aruba and Naples, Florida and was his happiest when his family was all together. Father of Lisa (Mark) Cooney and Sandra (Louis) Modell. Loving grandfather of Lauren (Anthony) DeCicco, Andrew Cooney (fiancé Jennifer), Nicole Modell (fiancé Jeffrey), and Alexa Modell. Proud great-grandfather of 2 great-grandsons. Brother of Albert (Carol) Fucci and Annette (Louis) Viscuso. Brother-in-law of George (Helen) Pertesis. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and Godchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lindsay, Candice and James for the outstanding care given to Clement over the past several months.
The visiting hours will be Thursday morning, March 6th from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Rd., Wallingford at 12:00 p.m. Entombment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Mausoleum, North Haven. Maria, and family, I am so sorry to learn of Clem´s passing. I always enjoyed spending time with time with Clem playing golf, or simply socializing. He told me about his medical condition, and he and I spoke frequently up to about one week ago. He loved his family very much, and everyone enjoyed being with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of the loss of my friend, co-worker and golfing buddy Clem. Such a warm and friendly person who made friends wherever he went. Few people knew that he virtually owned the 18th hole at Caldonia in S.C... He always played it to rousing applause from the patrons on the veranda. My sincere condolences to Maria and the entire family he loved so much. Rest in Peace. Peter
