Betty A. Johnson Link, 95, of Westville, the widow of Raymond G. Link Jr passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at home, surrounded by family. Mrs. Link, a retired nurse for many years in CT and in Florida, was born in New Haven, CT to the late Spencer Johnson and Mary Gill. Betty was married to her husband for 72 years until his passing in 2018. She raised her family in the New Haven area and retired to Florida with her husband. A stay-at-home Mom for many years, she attended the Eli Whitney Nursing Program where she received her training as an LPN. She was employed by Yale New Haven Hospital and subsequently by physicians in private practice both in CT and FL. Survivors include her devoted daughters Gayle Nidoh (Donald) of Cheshire and Joy Rogers (Ronald) of Westville, with whom she made her home. She was the grandmother of eight - Melissa Melendez, David Nidoh (Eleanor), Laura Carr (Adam), Christine Baluha (Dan), Brian Link (Becca), Amanda Riccio (Nick), Dennis Link Jr. and Ryan Ginnow and the great grandmother of 13. She was predeceased by 3 sons, Raymond Link III, Kevin Link (Karen) and Dennis Link. Visitation will take place Friday October 3rd from 10 – 11 a.m. in Our lady of the Assumption Church, 81 Center rd. Woodbridge, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
