Jerry Link, 72 years old, passed away suddenly on March 18th, 2026, while jogging. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, uncle and dear brother. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Penn State University with a BA and MBA. He spent 22 years in the United States Navy as a helicopter pilot and then many years in manufacturing at Sikorsky Aircraft and New Holland. His favorite occupation was that of grandfather to eight adoring grandkids.
His hobbies were photography and genealogy. He loved to take long walks and give dog treats to every dog he met, read a good book and drink large mugs of black coffee. He had a special affinity for babies and dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Trish Link, three children, Emily Link (Ryan Munyon), Patrick Link (Esther Mosimann), Brian Link (Cindy Spahn), eight grandchildren, Henry, Margaret, and Catherine Munyon, Eleanor, Cora, Evelyn, Alice and Sepp Link. His family was his greatest legacy.
He is also survived by four sisters, Judy Salvatore (Michael), Maryellen Fullmer (Chuck), Loretta Link-Esterly (Greg), Felicia Cannon (Kelly), and three brothers, Dennis (Kathy), Joseph, and Raymond (Carrie). He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters and two brothers. Also surviving are 54 nieces and nephews.
He was a 37-year member of St. James Catholic Church and recent member of St. John Neumann. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2026 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 W Areba Ave, Hershey, PA 17033 from 10am AM to 11AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11AM.
Memorials may be made to A Woman’s Concern, St. John Neumann or St. Joan of Arc.
