Maureen and family.
On many occasions Gene demonstrated a quiet strength in the face of terror and profound grief.
His extraordinary professional career made him a prize candidate for the city's Police Commissioner in 1987. And we're indebted for his acceptance. His service to our Nation, state and city was of the highest order. In appreciation for his generosity, leadership and humility, we thank you Maureen for sharing him with a grateful community.

Baron Family, Please accept my sincere condolence on Gene's passing. I had the honor of working with him as Troopers at Troop I Bethany for several years during the 1960's. I remember him as a dedicated law enforcement professional which resulted in his appointment for training as one of the first accident reconstruction specialist for the CSP. It was my pleasure and honor to have known and work with him. May he rest in peace.
