James Kavanaugh Obituary
James Gerard Kavanaugh Sr., of Branford, passed away May 30, 2022 in Connecticut Hospice. Born in New Haven on March 8, 1961 the son of Madelyn Romano Kavanaugh and the late Thomas Kavanaugh, James was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Yale University. While at Yale, he was a member of the swim team. James served as President of the Board at Parkside Village in Branford and was an avid fisherman. He is the father of Elizabeth Kavanaugh and James G. (Alexis) Kavanaugh, Jr. Brother of Thomas and Michael Kavanaugh. Loving grandpa of Colt and Inara.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00AM in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Mary's Church, 731 Main St. in Branford.
