Please accept my condolences. I umpired softball with Joe on a few occasions. He was also an outstanding person. He loved his work and he loved his fellow officials.
He always had a smile on his lips.

He taught me so much about being a good, fair. and positive ump.
He was such a kind and caring person. He dedicated his adult life to his family and friends and to all the kids he tought over his winder career. He will be missed by many.
Joe is at peace in heaven. May God bless you and his family and friends. Sincerely

Sincerest condolences on the loss of Joe.
I'm a lifelong friend of Joe's having grown up a few blocks away on Blohm St.
We played football, basketball and baseball together at Morris Park and at the school yard.
Also enjoyed many late nights hanging around the neighborhood as we grew older.
Joe was a great athlete and a great person.
He will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Sincerely, Jay Finkle

I played little league with and against Joe. Good guy. Good competitor. Good sportsman. Never knew him as an adult, but he had a great foundation. He couldn´t have deviated from that fiery little red fireplug we knew him as. I´m sorry for your loss.
